Our Services

Each of us is an independent consultant. When you hire us, we are working for you and will do our best to get you into your most appropriate estate plan. We will provide you with the following services: we will sit down with you and plan out what techniques are best for your estate plan. We will draft the documents which will be the "blueprints" for your future. We will work with your existing advisors, such as Life Insurance Professionals, Stockbrokers, CFPs, Realtors or CPAs, if you have them. We will refer you to highly ethical and knowledgeable Life Insurance Professionals, Stockbrokers, CFPs, Realtors and CPA, if requested. We will arrange for the implementation and execution of your estate plan. If you choose to implement a trust, we will help you "move" your assets into the trust to help that process be painless to you. We will make sure your estate plan is complete. We will be here in the future should you need to change your estate plan in any way. We will help to "probate" an estate if you are appointed executor. We can aid in elder law matters such as Conservatorships, Guardianships, and Medical Planning.

A Total Plan

A typical problem I have seen in the estate planning marketplace is the attorney who only does part of an estate plan. Or a person who has completed different pieces of the estate plan at different times in life, without thinking a lot about how all the pieces fit together. I call this the "piecemeal" plan. If it all works out as each individual piece is planned to, then there is likely to be no problem. Often, however, there is a small oversight. The slightest oversight can be devastating to the entire estate plan. This is why I want to put together a complete package for you, and solve as many problems as I can for you.

Each piece of your estate plan is critical to the overall effectiveness of your plan. You need the big pieces, like a simple will or a living trust. Although overlooked by many, equally as important are your durable powers of attorney and living will. For some this is not enough, and complex trusts or other advanced techniques need to be considered, to reduce taxes.

I assist clients in determining what elements are required for their individual estate plans. I consider all avenues available, and help put into place the vehicles that are most appropriate for you. A plan that is not only complete, but also within your current budget. Also, we will consider the need for updating your estate plan when life events dictate!
