Our firm was
established in 1979 when W. Morgan Johnson and Robert Fort,
well respected Sacramento attorneys, joined forces and
created the Law Offices of Johnson and Fort. The firms focus
was then, and remains, in the areas of business, estate
planning, real estate and probate. In the early-1980's the
firm added a young tax attorney John Meissner and a former
Certified Public Accountant, Irving Joseph. The name was
officially changed to Johnson, Fort, Meissner and Joseph in
1985. The firm continued to flourish, even with the deaths
of Mr. Fort and Mr. Johnson in 1999. Also in 1999 the firm
added John Palley as an associate attorney. In 2004 the
firm added Sasha Oberle as an associate and in 2005 added
Amy Ruggles to the list of attorneys. In 2005 the firm
admitted John Palley as a shareholder and changed the firm
name to Johnson, Fort, Meissner, Joseph and Palley.
